I
n Memory of those loved and lost.

Charismagic Asslam
18/10/04 - 6/1/06
Asslam became ill two days after having his annual booster injection. He had
acute kidney failure. We thought he had won his battle at one point but it was
not to be. He was a really affectionate boy who was a constant purr machine,
even while he was ill. We will never forget him, or the love and affection
he gave us in his short life.

Simkatzo Diamond Chocice (Kai)
20/3/2003 - 9/11/2007
Kai was my first stud boy he was very very special, he had a wonderful
nature, so affectionate and gentle, not a nasty bone in his body.
Kai showed no signs of illness at all, it was only when I took him to vets for a
snap test to be done for a a friend wishing to use him at stud for her girl that
the vet found a swelling in his lower jaw. A biopsy showed this to be an
infection, thank goodness I thought, but after 9 weeks of anti-biotics the
swelling was still there so a second and more aggressive biopsy was performed.
But Kai never really recovered from this biopsy, he stopped eating and became
lethargic. Blood tests revealed that he had kidney failure, probably the
result of both the infection and to a greater extent the anaesthetic. He did
pick up for a short time but it wasn't to be. My poor poor boy had no
chance, and we had to let him go.
Goodnight God Bless my beautiful gentle boys, never a day goes by when I don't
think of you. |
